South Oxfordshire & Vale of White Horse is a forward thinking local authority, based in one of the most attractive areas of the country with a professional and dedicated team at Wantage's community, leisure and entertainment venue: The Beacon.

We are looking for lovely volunteers to join our friendly team. 

Becoming a volunteer at The Beacon is very rewarding. Not only do you get to watch shows for FREE, you will meet new people, socialise and learn new skills.

Responsibilities include:

• Welcoming visitors in a friendly, professional manner
• Playing a key role in an evacuation or emergency situation to ensure customer safety
• Ensuring that customers are in a safe and comfortable environment at all times
• Checking tickets on the door
• Helping staff during the interval
