We are delighted to announce that The Beacon is planned to reopen to the public again from 6 September.

A new programme of shows is being planned for the theatre and a performance schedule will be announced shortly.

The Beacon will open in September following the news that it will no longer be needed as a symptom-free testing site from 26 June.

With a choice of rooms for hire, including a large auditorium, a dance studio and three other function rooms, The Beacon is the ultimate, flexible space, whatever your requirements. If you’d like to hire space at The Beacon you can now make provisional bookings.  For more information email us on beacon.wantage@whitehorsedc.gov.uk.  All bookings will be subject to change depending on any future Covid-19 government guidance.

We’d like to thank you and all our hirers and associates for bearing with us and we can’t wait to have you coming back through our doors again very soon.
